A Celebration of Vietnamese Heritage and Achievement at Florida Polytechnic
Picture this: it's late Friday night, and you've just arrived home after an eventful work day. You wind down for the night, and then see in your phone's notification tab - an email inquiry. "Graduation photographer needed ASAP." Hannah, a recent grad from Florida Polytechnic University, was dropped by the photographer who was originally set to photograph this milestone for her.

We go back and forth in our emails for a bit. Where's the shoot at? What times are we both available? Tomorrow? Lakeland? Oh goodness. I went back and forth on whether I should risk my sanity and do this very last minute, but I don't regret it one bit.
So, I set off from Tampa with a freshly filled tank of gas and a strawberry Monster Energy the next morning. I met with Hannah at Florida Polytechnic University's iconic IST building, with its stark white modern architecture. It served as a perfect backdrop to the white ao dai Hannah wore to honor her heritage (her mom brought it back for her from Vietnam). During our session, Hannah was all laughs as we joked and talked and related to each other over our shared Vietnamese heritage. We both left the session with lifetime memories and an excitement of what comes next.
