Overview

This past Sunday, I had the privilege of creating a whole new brand vibe for Jen, the cool, fabulous, effortlessly chic Events Director of the Tampa Firefighter's Museum. We met a year ago during a Christmas event held at the museum (it was my first time networking for Limelight Photography), and again in October at another networking event where she mentioned that there was a photo of me from the Christmas party on the museum's CRM. She saw my independent photo work, and the rest was history — crossing paths with Jen and creating art with her was seemingly written by faith.

The Session

During our session, we were joined by Jen's daughter, the incredibly talented content creator Mia of Lens Linen, and Dani of Diva In You Events assisted in the setup of our session. We floated between different areas of the event space, taking photos of the many hats Jen wears (literally and figuratively). For her "venue coordinator" hat, we created a champagne tower that resulted in several broken champagne glasses (Mia recorded the moment on video!) and some AMAZING shots. We also photographed her on the downstairs museum level for moodier images with "Little Mack" (note to visitors: only Jen is allowed to actually get on the truck). For her "chef" hat, we photographed some Food Network-esque shots that could make Gordon Ramsay's mouth water. Jen even fed me some of that delicious pistachio cake and truffle burrata!

Tampa Firefighter's Museum - An Unforgettable Location

If you know me well enough, I'm a sucker for a good museum, and an even bigger sucker for a place with a lot of open windows and good natural lighting. Nestled near the center of downtown Tampa, this little museum is a hidden gem among Tampa, Florida photo locations. This little museum is perfect for branding photography if you're somebody who also likes big open windows and lots of light!

Jen, thank you so much for booking me for your branding photos! I hope to bring many more people through the doors of the museum for photography purposes - the Tampa Firefighter's Museum is truly unforgettable!
